Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bindry ("Bindry," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Who we are
Bindry is operated by Bindry AI LLC, located at 486 W Cherry St, Suite 313, Sunbury, OH 43074 ("Bindry," "we," or "us"). This policy applies to bindry.ai and any Bindry application or API.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, phone number, name, and password or authentication credentials.
- Profile information: mailing address and other details you choose to add in Account Settings.
- Content you create: Bindings, Stacks, and other content you author, publish, or store using the Service.
- Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, device and browser information, and log data.
- Billing information: plan and subscription details. Payment card data is handled by our payment processor and is never stored on our servers.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including signing you in and delivering one-time passcodes;
- Send account, security, and transactional communications;
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
- Improve and develop new features;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. SMS messaging
If you provide a phone number, Bindry may send you SMS text messages for two purposes:
- Security codes (transactional): one-time passcodes used to sign in. These messages are sent whenever you request a code and are not subject to the marketing opt-in described below.
- Account and product notices (opt-in): messages about your account or the Service that you have explicitly opted into. We only send these after you affirmatively enable SMS notifications in Account Settings.
How to opt in. You opt in by enabling SMS notifications in Account Settings after adding a phone number. We record the time and source of your consent.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or disable SMS notifications in Account Settings. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further non-transactional messages. You can resubscribe at any time by replying START or re-enabling SMS notifications in Account Settings.
Getting help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@bindry.ai.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences (such as light/dark theme).
To understand how our public pages are used, we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally. It records the page viewed, the site that referred you, and general information such as browser, device type and country. It does not run on pages inside your signed-in account, and it does not record the contents of addresses beyond the page itself and campaign tags.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, email/SMS delivery, payment processing, privacy-focused website analytics), under contractual confidentiality obligations;
- Other users, to the extent you choose to make content public (e.g., publishing a Binding or Stack to the public Library);
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bindry, our users, or others; and
- A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
7. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Some information is retained after account deletion where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes, or where content has already been made public by you.
8. Your rights and choices
You can access and update most of your information directly in Account Settings, including your name, address, phone number, and SMS consent. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing).
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
